So your point is to insult someone else right off the bat for a well reasoned review, done once, while you have done multiples and they are the windbag. Yep, lost me there. Lose your little snark and you almost had something. Almost, your very thesis shuts you down: 'Each persons point of view' yet you deny any that don't fit your view while claiming you have an expansive view. Clearly NOT!. Really!
I think Angmir was kidding about the "hypocrisy" line. At least that's how I took it.

"This is a story telling game! Not a sex game! Don't expect sex!"

The story: 2/10
The writing: 3/10
English: 1/10
Quality of scenes: 8/10

The dev had enough time and resources to create a better update, he failed to deliver. By what I saw him write on the Patreon, he really indeed plans to finish this game in 2026. We all joke about it, but in his own words: "this is a 30 day series! we are at day 13!". This dude is milking this game more than Rockstar is milking GTA5 lmao.

Stop defending him, you won't earn anything that way. He deserves the criticism and the ones that pay him need to reconsider if it is worth it. Give credit where credit is due but do not forget to criticize too. This "game" has been out for 4+ years and we haven't reached anywhere.
Well, we certainly have been teased a great deal that's for sure. A clue to this game and Sophia's sexual behavior or lack thereof can be read in her thoughts after Patricia broke her and Tyler up at the club. "Sophia looked up. The sight of her sister and her daughter brought her back to reality, and she remembered that she was still 'a wife and mother'." Something always happens story-wise (so far) that opens her eyes and prevents us from seeing "the money shot". I only hope that the frustration builds and crescendos into 5 or 6 massive orgasms with someone other than her husband, whilst I'm still able to appreciate it. :)

Yeah - I am surprised and even slightly suspicious, that the debt was foregone so quickly after relatively such little things that Sophia did for Larry. I will forgive that if there are more to come in future days - despite his protestations that he (Don Morello) was happily married, he certainly still seemed interested in Sophia.
Because I don't think Morello ever cared about the money, it was just an excuse to get close to Sophia. It would not surprise me at all if Morello exploited Liam's gambling problem once he (Morello) learned who Sophia was. Sure, Morello wanted his money back, but he was far more interested in using the threat of the debt to get closer to Sophia. I've also NEVER believed L&P that there was no sexual intent from Morello towards Sophia. I know he denied a "indecent proposal" situation, but I think he's either outright lying or he's lying by omission.

See maybe your comment "the interactions between the characters stepped up too quickly" reflects that L&P has listened to criticism of previous updates. Have said before after both the morning and afternoon updates for Events Day 19 / Playable Day 12, that there does feel as if there has been a ramping up of sexual activities over the last three updates. We have had:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

Yes it won't satisfy those who want to see Sophia fuck every person introduced in the VN. But it is definitely accelerated.
I have said before the danger is for L&P to do that and accelerate the sexual acts, without losing what had made the story so special beforehand.

Also have said before it is more effective to show and not tell. You are right. Rather than L&P telling us that they swapped reminisces of past events and that sexual tensions had been rising, it would have been better to spend a few more renders (maybe 10-15 renders) showing these past events and us seeing that all four characters (i.e. not just Sophia) were getting more sexually excited from the swapping of tales bygone,
Just to be clear, my remark was not about the pace or the content of the events. As you show in your list the pace escalated a lot this PD, whether it was planned like this or because he is adapting.

What I was noting is that the *transition* between where we left the interaction with a certain character and the new event with that same character has a sort of gap. I took the old gents example because it was the most striking to me: you suddenly meet these guys that are openly flirting and making sexual innuendos with Sophia. This is obviously a problem coming from the previous side job events that were a few lines delegated to the narrator voice explaining things. That failed to set up the context in which the interactions take place. Then the event itself is fine, once you move on from the "abrupt" start.

In a similar way and at different extents the interactions/dialogues with Dylan, Aiden, Nathalie and Sam felt (at least to me) having a transition gap wrt where we previously left the characters. Like they were suddenly on a different level. But then (again, to me) the rest of each event was fine.
Maybe it's just me and/or I'm nitpicking. I don't know if you notice that too and had the same feeling.
I don't know if this PD have a special place in his plan and served as a "booster" for all the paths. For sure now the relationship with most of the characters is clearly on a different level. We'll see in the next update(s) if there will be a smoother progression in that sense.

I see what you mean about the transitions between scenes, but to me it hasn't been a problem. In fact, I think it's necessary, and needs to be even greater. The game needs to MOVE, it's already so slowly paced that it's hard to imagine the 30-day schedule working. Without jumps between scenes, characters like Natalie and (to a lesser extent) Sam would already be so far behind that they could never catch up and have sexy scenes with Sophia. Because Natalie appears so infrequently, I think we can pretty much guarantee that every scene with her from now on is going to escalate substantially from the previous scene. The next time we see her, I have no doubt that there will be nudity, with sex only being a heartbeat away.

Dylan and Ellie can develop more naturally because they appear in almost every single update. There's no need for an abrupt jump in how sexual they can be with Sophia. L&P can take his time, develop the relationships very deliberately. It's still painfully slow, but it makes sense.

This is also why Sophia's relationship with the Apostles escalated so quickly. It was disgusting and far too quick, but the side jobs appear so seldom that we're going to see a lot of inconsistencies between scenes. The next time Sophia works at the nursing home, she's going to wear that crazy sexy outfit for the old men. I suspect she's also going to let them get to second base with her. Within the next three scenes at the nursing home, I believe Sophia will have sex with them. But that will take probably 15 years, and it will be late in the game. But in terms of where the relationship is right now, it will be a huge jump and will feel unrealistic. But, again, that's understandable because at some point the game simply has to move.

I always thought that, as per previous posts by me & others. Anyway, Morello saying that he's happily married doesn't make it true. Who better to lie in their own interest than a Mafia boss? Casinos have the ability to zero in on patrons with CCTV & I think that's what happened when Sophia & Liam were there together. Don Morello even had time to think up a poetic line about Sophia's eyes, for that added extra smooth talk. Sophia's winning & Liam's losing streaks were not the results of games of chance.

I will hate it if the Aiden & Don Morello stories, (should there be a DM story), are mutually exclusive.

The update wasn't that bad not his best one for sure. But the hot tub scene was hot. As sad is this is to say but it felt like he rushed it. It felt like he cut scenes out of the bar event. And definitely missed and opportunity so Sophia to tease Sam a little more getting out of the hot tub.
I also got the impression that he cut out some of the renders from the already finished update.

But this is not surprising, they are under strong pressure on him and unfortunately this does not help the story and development of the game, it can only harm.
